I just lost my beautiful wife to Pancreatic cancer .She was stage 4 and also given about a year to 18 months to live ( best case scenario) .However through sheer positive attitude and will to live she lived a good life for just under six years . I miss her terribly .

Broke my fibula, just got the rest of my stitches out after having surgery. Been in a wheelchair for a month now, fingers crossed I can get past this learning curve with crutches!

How does this compare to a CT Angiogram? I really don't like the idea of them shotting dye into me

I had a seizure inside of an inpatient hospital recently and am now facing a felony in FL for biting a nurse. I first went to one voluntarily but there was no neurologist there so they allowed me to leave. I then had suicidal ideations and was sent to another hospital after talking with police. During my stay I had my third seizure. I don’t recall what happens for usually a day or two after a seizure and I was awoken by a nurse telling me another nurse had been pressing charges for me biting her while I was under the duress of the seizure. If you have any jobs for me I’d love one, thanks.

Anyone who’s going to start treatment, please remove your teeth before you start! Don’t let these Drs. Tell you otherwise! No dentist is equipped to treat your fried teeth! The pain and agony from this is awful! And afterwards please check your heart! So many patients die of massive heart attacks afterwards because they don’t tell you anything! I had epileptic seizures that I could anticipate because they were preceded by neurological auras. In some of my seizures I ended up at Froedtert Hospital when I didn’t properly prepare. It was a mistake on my part to not have people around to handle the event and not panic. Happily I now take regular medication that has allowed me to not have a single seizure in six years.

The dat scan does Not clearly diagnose Parkinsons. Beware of Drs who say it diqgnoses Parkinsons. There are other diseases that also will show dopamine loss in the brain. This is a money grab. $10,000 dollars and prior authorization Had a neurologist who badgered me to take this test, EVERY appt. Threatened twice to cut off my medication. Because I had already been diagnosed with Parkinson's I didn't want the test.

I'm on my 4th month using crutches and I still don't have the confidence to go up/down stairs without nothing that can support me because I know my balance sucks. 😂 I do the first technique but near the handrail just in case. My grandfather, mother and brother all had PC. All three had the Whipple. Grandfather and mother no Chemo and lived for 25 more years. Brother has chemo and lasted 3 more years. The chemo killed him. Mayo Clinic requested I do blood study with them to see why we last so long after diagnosis. I gladly volunteered. No feedback yet.
